ALSA announced today that the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, Her Excellency Ms Quentin Bryce AC, has accepted ALSA's proposal to become our Patron.

Her Excellency has had a rich and eminent career as an academic, lawyer, community and human rights advocate, senior public officer, university college principal, and vice-regal representative. Her Excellency is an inspiration to all Australians, and, in particular, a pioneer and role model for Australian law students.
