ALSA has formally contacted Prime Minister Julia Gillard, Minister for Health & Ageing, Nicola Roxon, and Shadow Minister for Health & Ageing, Peter Dutton, and has expressed its concern over shortfalls in funding for mental health services aimed at young adults in their 20s, which covers the majority of the approximately 28 000 students whom ALSA represents.
